Bret C. Tollefson
Case Manager/Litigation Paralegal
Bret C. Tollefson joined the The Bernhoft Law Firm in March 2006 to lead the Firm’s technology group. Since then, the Firm has become a recognized leader in utilizing cutting-edge electronic discovery review techniques. Tollefson’s unique skill set in managing complex, document-intensive litigation gives our clients a strategic advantage in an increasingly document-intensive litigation environment. Tollefson was responsible for managing one million-plus litigation documents in the Wesley Snipes’ tax trial, where Mr. Snipes was acquitted of all felony tax charges.
Tollefson also brings his pre-trial mastery of case documents to counsel table at trial, where winning often depends on locating that critical cross-examination document in a matter of seconds. His expertise was important in unearthing massive government misconduct in the case United States v. David Struckman. If “The devil is in the details,” Tollefson will find that “devil” and root him out.
