Thomas Szott

Thomas Szott is a native of Cheyenne, Wyoming. He studied tuba and English at the University of Kansas and graduated with highest distinction. Thomas later received a master’s degree in tuba from the University of Colorado and was a finalist in the 2008 Leonard Falcone International Tuba Competition. He also performed with the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra for several seasons.

Graduating with honors from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2013, Thomas then joined the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Wyoming and served as a federal prosecutor for eight years. Thomas also represents clients in state and federal court in Wyoming and appears on behalf of clients in water rights cases before the Wyoming State Board of Control.

Away from the office, Thomas enjoys reading, watching classic movies, watching football, square dancing, church music, games, and spending time with family and friends.
